About the College
VSSD College is a government-supported institution affiliated with Kanpur’s prestigious Chhatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University accredited with grade A++ by NAAC. To uphold the Sanatan values of life and to render quality education Brahmavart Sanatan Dharam Mahamandal, the parent body of Vikramajit Singh Sanatan Dharam College, Kanpur was founded in 1916, seeking inspiration from Swami Dayanandji, a great philosopher and promoter of Hindu Dharam.
However, the Sanatan Dharam College, later known as Vikramajit Singh Sanatan Dharam College, Kanpur was established in 1921 under the guardianship of Rai Bahadur Babu Vikamajit Singh. From its very inception, the college was famous as a college of commerce to award Diploma in commerce was affiliated to Bombay University.
In 1923 the college got affiliation from Allahabad University, Allahabad to award degree of Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.). The classes for Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in different other subjects began in 1925. Later in 1927 the college was affiliated to Agra University and LL. B. classes started in 1928.
B.Sc. classes were started in 1956 whereas the M.Sc. classes began in 1964. Since 1967, the college is affiliated to C. S. J. M. University Kanpur. The college has been accredited ‘A’ Grade by NAAC in 2009-2016. The college presently runs various study programs under sixteen departments of six different faculties, namely, Arts, Commerce, Science, Teacher Education, Law and Physical Education.
The College has celebrated its centenary in 2021. The Department of Law has been actively involved in legal research and organizing seminars, workshops etc.

Eligibility
This seminar is ideal for professionals, policymakers, students, and anyone interested in the future of technology, law, and society.
Location
The event will be conducted offline or online at the Department of Law, Vikramjit Singh Sanatan Dharma College, Nawabganj, Kanpur.
Submission of Papers
The interested academicians, teachers, research scholars and students may present their papers by submitting full papers (in 2500 to 5000 words) on any topic related to any sub-theme mentioned above. Apart from these sub-themes, papers may be presented on any other topic as well which should be in consonance with the main theme of the seminar.
Papers are welcome both in English or Hindi language. Registration maybe done by submitting an Abstract (not more than 250 words) and keywords latest by the date of the seminar through the link provided below. Full paper may be submitted after the seminar but not later than 20th April, 2024.
Guidelines for Paper Submission
- Font – Times New Roman for English and Kruti Dev 10 for Hindi
- Size – 12 for English and 10 for Hindi
- Headings Font to be in same font size but in Bold
- Footnoting and Referencing should follow the ILI citation style.
- Spacing in the main body should be 1.5 pts and, in the footnotes, should be 1 pt.
- Submission of papers should be made only in Microsoft Word Format (.docx or .doc files).
- Papers should adhere to the word limit of 2500 – 5000 words.
- Co-authorship is permissible up to maximum of 2 authors only.
- CO-authors have to fill separate registration forms.

The registration will be conducted online through the google form link provided at the end of this post.
Registration Fee
- Academicians, Professionals, and Teachers: Rs. 500/-
- Research Scholars and Students: Rs. 300/-
Separate fees to be paid in case of co-authorship.
