Dancing at Dunhuang Cultural Expo

The 7th Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo offers a unique opportunity to experience the rich diversity of Chinese cultures. Kulimujian, a dancer from the Kazakh ethnic group in Jiuquan, Gansu Province, along with her dancing partner, performed the traditional Kazakh dance “Heizouma” at the event. The expo, which kicked off in Dunhuang, Gansu on September 21, also featured performances of songs, dances and music played on traditional instruments from other ethnic groups.
